Karma in Islam

Can a habitual action be the cause of a reaction or blockage of a certain channel which we desire to have? If you always speak bad about the ullema can you expect them to support your ideas? If you murder people can you expect to be saved? If you view women in a perverted way can you expect to get the woman you want? These are all questions which have a karma based philosophy.
